Welcome! This course focuses primarily on history and mythology in North America surrounding the interaction of wolves and humans. We will be conducting research on popular literature, film, music, folklore, the law, and ecology to try to trace the changing relationship of wolves and humans. Each student will design a research project and write a 15-30 page research paper.

The course will begin with several common readings and students will then work individually with the instructors to define and research their topics. During the last three weeks of the semester, students will present their research findings to the seminar.

The first day of class will be Wednesday, January 23rd. See you then!
