BOOKS (ordered at New Jersey Books ONLY):
Text = Pomeroy, Burstein, Donlan, & Roberts, ANCIENT GREECE: A POLITICAL, SOCIAL, & CULTURAL HISTORY, 2nd edition (Oxford Univ. Press 2008) [ISBN-13: 9780195308006]
Readings = Nagle & Burstein, READINGS IN GREEK HISTORY: SOURCES & INTERPRETATIONS (Oxford Univ. Press 2007) [ISBN-13: 9780195178258]

Text is assigned by entire Roman-numbered Chapters (I, II, etc.), usually one per meeting.
Readings are assigned by Arabic-numbered Chapters and capital-lettered subdivisions within chapters (1B, 4A-C, etc.); subdivisions include all numbered sub-subdivisions (4A = 4A.1-7, 6B = 6B.1-4, etc.). Because this can be confusing, pages for readings are also specified (which sometimes include brief introductions preceding the actual readings).
Videos are scheduled on the assumption that (as in past years) they will be available; those that are not will be replaced or deleted.

Mondays will be the heavy-lecturing nights, with essentially two full-length lectures separated by a coffee (etc.) break.
At every Wednesday meeting except the Final, some form of video or movie should be shown – even on the evening of the Mid-Term Exam (July 28).
